One of the first things my husband raved about when I first met him (July 1977) was his grandmother’s sour cream cookies. I had never heard of them and was anxious to try them. I had my first taste during Christmas of 1977. WOW!! Ron was right! These cookies are like little hand-held coffee cakes and just melt in your mouth. The cookies are soft and moist with the texture of a delicate white cake and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar (or Christmas red and green during the holidays). I don’t know where she got the recipe, but it is an all-time family favorite!
