Loaf pan cakes are my favorites! You never know what surprise you’re going to find inside right! This cranberry orange pound cake is one of those delicious dessert you can’t say no too!
You’ll Need:
1 cup of softened butter.
1 ½ cups of honey.
¼ tsp of cream of tartar.
¼ tsp of salt.
½ orange juice.
4 eggs.
2 ¼ cups of all purpose flour.
1 ½ cups of dried cranberries.
How to:
In a large bowl using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed the butter, honey, cream of tartar, salt and orange juice until well blended. Add in the eggs one at a time while beating. On low, mix in the flour ½ cup at a time and beat together until smooth and well combined. Add in cranberries and mix.
In a greased 9×5 loaf pan, pour the batter and bake for 60 to 70 minutes in a preheated oven to 350°.
Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring the cake to a serving platter.
Easy, peasy and yummy! This cranberry orange pound cake is very delicious, the combination of cranberries and orange is just amazing. I usually serve this as a dessert with an orange glaze or with coffee at breakfast.
