I have a story about this easy 3 ingredient banana bread recipe that I’m going to share with you today. It’s a food item that’s very close to my heart. 🙂

I promise I’m not going all gluten-free on y’all over here, but my mom recently eliminated gluten from her diet to see if she has an allergy to it that might be causing some skin irritations, which inspired me to create a few more flourless baking recipes that I can bake for people who don’t or can’t eat gluten. I’ll probably never go gluten-free myself unless I have to for medical reasons, but if I had to, I know I’d survive. There are so many great recipes and products out there that allow you to enjoy baked goodies even if you can’t have gluten. But I can’t imagine a life without glutenous breads, cookies, donuts, etc.! 😉

You see, a little more than just a few years ago, when I first found out that I was pregnant with Kennedy, the very first thing that came to my mind that I needed to do, before anything else, was learn to cook. Well, first I told Chris, but THEN, I needed to learn to cook. Not get a crib. Not learn how to change a diaper. Not figure out which preschool she would go too, or even how much all of that would cost. First, I needed to learn to cook. Because, in my mind, real moms should have a good tasty recipe up their sleeves to be able to create a nice happy home environment for their family. It just feels right to me. This quick recipe for Easy 3 Ingredient Banana Bread is delicious! I could not believe how good it was with such simple ingredients. All you need is 3-4 ripe bananas, eggs, and a box of cake mix. Yes, you can make great tasting banana bread with a box of your favorite cake mix. Last week I had some bananas that were getting ripe and I needed to use them up so I decided try this easy recipe.

It’s one of the most delicious quick breads that you will ever taste, and you’ve just GOT to share it with friends! This easy Amish Friendship Bread is laced with notes of cinnamon and sugar for a sweet breakfast, snack or dessert that pairs perfectly with a warm cup of coffee.
