You see from my prospective of the Brit living in Portugal the salad calories have gone down and not up and are super healthy here. That is because the salad dressing of choice has always been the olive oil dressings that are full of goodness. And if they do ever have a mayonnaise then it would be in tiny portion sizes.
But I had on many occasions had a ranch dressing and I was addicted to a good quality homemade ranch dressing. So this is what I came up with. When Portugal met the American dressing and had a good fit of fun developing something healthier that you could eat with everything.
From chips to salad to healthy fast food this is the homemade ranch dressing recipe of choice!
