Slow Cooker Homemade Cinnamon Rolls
You’ll Need:
1 T. Cinnamon
1/2 Stick Butter, softened
1 c. Brown Sugar
1 Loaf, Frozen Bread Dough
1/4 c. Heavy Cream
1/2 c. Powdered Sugar
3 T. Heavy Cream or Milk
How To:
Thaw the frozen bread dough on greased cookie sheet on the countertop.
Mix the butter, cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl.
Roll the dough out to a large rectangle.
Spread the cinnamon and sugar mixture over the dough.
Roll the dough in a log shape keeping it taught.
Seal shut, you can moisten edge slightly.
Divide the dough into 10 pieces then place them in a greased 6-quart slow cooker crock.
Cover the slow cooker and let the dough sit for 30 to 60 minutes.
Add the heavy cream to the cinnamon rolls.
Place crock inserts into the slow cooker and cover.
Cook for 3 to 4 hours on low.
To make a glaze, combine 3 tablespoons of milk/cream and powdered sugar and add it to the top of the rolls before serving.
