Apple-Brown Sugar Bread

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 apples, peeled and grated
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
PREPARATION
- Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 4×8-inch loaf pan. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix together butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and stir to combine.
- Add baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, and stir until well incorporated. Then, add flour and mix until combined. Fold in apples.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and let cool in pan 10-15 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
