This chalkboard allows me to write out the dinner menu for the week and everyone can see it. No more asking mama what we were eating.

I turned the inside of my pantry door into a chalkboard. It’s a great place to keep a weekly menu for the family to see. We can also jot down things we need from the store and leave notes to each other.

I started by taping off the inside door panel.

I rolled on a couple coats of chalkboard paint. Per the can, I waited 3 days for the paint to cure before using it.

Next step is to prime the chalkboard. You do this by rubbing the side of a piece of chalk over the entire surface. Erase with a wet sponge to remove the chalk and you’re all set.
