4- Massage Oil
Self massage – and massage in general – is one of the best ways relieve pain and tension. Make it extra effective with an apple cider vinegar massage oil.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil, olive oil, or other carrier oils
DIRECTIONS
- Mix the apple cider vinegar and your carrier oil of choice together.
- Massage directly into the arthritic joint. Leave the massage oil on your skin after you have finished massaging; do not rush to rinse it off.
You can repeat both the massage and the massage oil application as regularly as you need.
5- Tonic
As we well know, apple cider is a great benefit to our health when taken orally as well as topically. After you check with your doctor to make sure there are no interactions with any medications you may be taking, try this homemade tonic that is also antibacterial, antifungal and an antacid.
INGREDIENTS
1 – 10-ounce glass peppermint tea
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
Prepare the peppermint tea.
Mix the apple cider vinegar, honey and cinnamon into the tea until dissolved.
Drink this tonic once a day to help the pain. Of course, any way you like to orally take apple cider vinegar – mixed with water, mixed with cherry juice, mixed with apple and grape juice – works as well!
