Healthy fruit juices: Hawaiian Blizzard
Pineapples are tropical fruit that are rich in vitamins, enzymes and antioxidents. They may help boost the immune system, build strong bones and aid indigestion. Also, despite their sweetness, pineapples are low in calories.
Ingredients :
1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 banana
1/4 cup ice cubes
2 teaspoons honey, optional
pineapple wedges, for garnish
Directions :
In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks, coconut milk, banana, ice and, if desired, honey. Puree until smooth. Pour into 2 large glasses. Garnish each serving with a pineapple wedge.

** Love the healthy fruit juices! It’s been ages since I’ve indulged, but what do you know there is a new Dairy Queen going up about 5 miles from my house. May have to order a mini! ? I have all of the ingredients to make this in my Vitamix, I got yesterday…. I think I’ll be having this for dessert tonight!!
** This sounds delicious and absolutely perfect for Summer! I think that my favorite Blizzard is probably either cookie dough or Butterfinger. It has been so long since I have had one, though
**Pineapple and coconut are a match made in heaven!
** Very cool idea! I personally love Oreo blizzards. But I like this idea for a healthy but sweet treat!
**Mmm that looks so nice and refreshing! I always love getting ice cream or fro yo, and acting like if I put fruit on it it’s healthy, but this looks like a great alternative! Excellent idea!
