That dark, rich cake resembles a brownie so you can imagine how super delicious it is! This recipe has been a great hit over at Baked By An Introvert. It has received plenty of wonderful feedback from readers – let’s take a look at what some of them have said about it:
I made this for my Christmas dessert and am so happy with how it turned out. Thank you so much for this awesome recipe!
This is one of the most gorgeous cakes that I have ever seen, and I absolutely love the flavor combo. WOW!!!
You don’t necessarily need to add the chocolate glaze at all, if you think the cake is chocolatey enough without it. Personally I think it really is “the icing on the cake” and it does not take it over the top, so there’s no need to worry about that!
Ingredients
For the cake
2 and 1/2 cups Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 ounces Hershey’s semisweet chocolate finely chopped
1 cup Land O’ Lakes unsalted butter softened

1 teaspoon McCormick vanilla extract
