As a little girl, I would always find a treat at the bottom of my lunchbox. My mom would never fail me when it came to dessert and school lunches. Oh, don’t get me wrong, she always packed my nutritious food and made me promise to eat it all first. However, under my sandwich and carrot sticks, I’d always find some sort of Little Debbie’s snack or homemade treat.
So, today, I decided to o attempt to recreate those Little Debbie snacks by making this mouthwatering chocolate cake roll! Does it not look just like a giant Swiss cake roll?!
Surprisingly, this dessert was pretty easy to make. You do need some patience when rolling it all up but other than that it was easy peasy.
Oh. My. Word. This has got to be one of the most decadent chocolate desserts I’ve EVER sunk my teeth into. The filling is so rich and creamy! If my pant size wouldn’t go up a few notches I’d eat this luscious cake roll ever single day of my life. If you haven’t yet made this dessert you must go and do so now. You owe it to yourself to pamper your taste buds in such sweet, chocolatey serenity.
