How to Make Alkaline Water at Home
Ingredients
- Two liters of filtered, purified water (the main point is for it to be additive and chemical-free, but you can also use an osmosis filter if you happen to have one)
- One tbsp. Himalayan salt (the best salt there is!)
- One lemon (best to use only the organic kind – after all, you want to AVOID pesticides, remember?)
- one large glass container, like a jar (yes, it’s very important that it is a glass and not a plastic one; plastic is full of chemicals and impurities which only contribute to the acidity of our bodies)
How to Make It
Fill the glass container with the purified water and add some slices of lemon. You shouldn’t squeeze the juice, the point is for the lemon’s peel to be in there as well.
Then just add the last ingredient, the Himalayan salt, and cover the container. Let it sit like that at room temperature for as long as 12-24 hours.
How to Use It
After the waiting period is over, it is advisable to drink 3 whole glasses of this water in the morning before drinking or consuming anything else.
