Marinated Beef Shish Kabobs
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 pounds top sirloin beef, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1/2 cup grated yellow onion
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 bell pepper, chopped into large pieces
- 1 cup cherub tomatoes
- 1 red onion, chopped into large pieces
- lemon pepper for seasoning
DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl whisk together the onion, garlic, olive oil, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and apple cider vinegar. Pour the mixture into a Ziploc bag along with the beef. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
Using skewers alternate between meat and vegetables.
Heat grill to 450 degrees F. Place the skewers onto the grates and season with lemon pepper. Cook for 8 minutes and then flip them over and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes.
