I don’t know about you, but we always have Nutella around the house. I use it a lot to make cookies, pies and stuff. Last week, I tried this new recipe for a nutter butter nutella pie, it was magnificent!
You’ll Need (for the crust):
24 whole nutter butter cookies.
¼ cup of melted butter.
You’ll Need (for the filling):
16 ounces of softened cream cheese.
¾ cup of granulated sugar.
½ cup of nutella.
1 tsp of vanilla extract.
½ cup of whipping cream.
Ganache (optional):
¼ cup of nutella.
¼ cup of whipping cream.
How to:
Grind the nutter butter cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs and mix with melted butter to form the crust.
In a sprayed 9 inch pie plate, press down the crust and chill in the refrigerator.
Blend together the cream cheese and sugar until well combined and mix in the vanilla extract and Nutella. Mix in the cream and beat for 3 minutes on high until thick.
Pour the creamy mixture over the crust and refrigerate for 2 hours.
If you choose to make the ganache, mix together the Nutella and cream in a safe bowl and microwave to melt and form a sauce. Drizzle over the pieces of pie and serve!
Enjoy!
Easy, peasy and creamy! This was like a dream dessert. We couldn’t have enough we ate the whole thing! Give it a shot, I’m sure you will love it!
