INGREDIENTS
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 cup butter, melted (2 sticks)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup powdered sugar for topping
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 325°F, and spray a 2 quart baking dish (or six 6-ounce ramekins) with cooking spray.
Combine granulated and brown sugars in large mixing bowl. Beat in eggs, and mix on medium-high speed until a thick batter forms.
Reduce speed to low, add vanilla and butter. Sift in flour and cocoa. Fold until dry ingredients are fully incorporated into batter. Stir in chocolate chips.
Pour batter into prepared baking dish and place inside larger pan. Fill larger pan halfway with boiling water, and bake 1 hour (or 30 minutes for individual ramekins), until edges are set and top is crispy.
Remove baking dish from water bath, allow to cool (10 minutes). Serve warm, topped with a generous dusting of powdered sugar. Enjoy!
