Homemade Tartar Sauce
5 minutes to prepare serves 4-6
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon red onion, minced
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Mix together mayonnaise and lemon juice in a medium bowl until combined.
- Fold in red onion, relish and mustard until combined, then season generously with salt and pepper.
- Refrigerate at least 20 minutes before serving so flavors have time to develop.
- Serve with crab cakes or fish and chips. Enjoy!
