The Right Way to Use a Tomato
1. Keep It Simple
The simplest of solutions is most often the best one. Only, slice a tomato in half and use one-half to rub the affected areas of your face with.
It’s imperative that your skin absorbs the tomato juice, so a little massage is preferable until it soaks, and then simply rinse your skin. It’s not exactly the most efficient method, but it gets the job done for minor breakouts or when you’re in a hurry.
2. Face Mask
In case you any spare time, the face mask will do wonders on even heavy acnes. Slice the top of the tomato into an X shape.
After that, soak the tomato in warm water for about 1 minute and peel its skin. Then, remove the seeds and mash the potato up until you make a paste.
Apply the mask to the entire face and let it stay for an hour or so, before rinsing it with water. For a bonus effect of reducing pain from acne, you can add yogurt or mashed cucumber to the mixture.
3. Tomato Juice Face Wash
If sitting for an hour with a tomato mask on your face isn’t the preferable method, you can try the face wash.
Take a small dish and mix the freshly squeezed juice from the tomato with a few drops of lemon juice. Apply this solution to the affected area of your skin and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Simply rinse the skin with warm water after.
