This recipe is so not complicated, you’ll think it was easy as pie to make. This Beef Pie offers familiar flavors in an unconventional profile.

Things You Will Need:

1 lb ground beef

1/4 cup chopped onion

1/4 cup Progresso plain bread crumbs

1/2 teaspoon dried sage leaves

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 egg
-
mashed potatoes
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
1/4 cup chopped fresh tomato
-
2 medium green onions, chopped
How To Prepare:
- Preheat your over to around 350 degrees for this recipe.
- Mix together your ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, sage, salt and egg. Smash into a glass baking dish, then spread your mashed potatoes evenly over meat mixture and top with cheese.
- Place your dish in the oven and bake uncovered for about 50 minutes, or until it looks like you meat is thoroughly cooked. The internal temp should reach 160 degrees.
- Place your desired toppings on before serving; tomato and green onions.
