Hey, everyone! I hope you all are doing well this week. Today, we are discussing old-timey desserts that our mothers and grandmothers used to make. of course, the topic of ambrosia salad came up. This salad is said to be a big hit in the south but I think it has made its way around the country over the years.
I’m a northerner and my grandmother always made this salad. I can remember going to Sunday dinner at granny’s house and she would have a big old bowl of the fluffy stuff sitting on the table. You never knew which color to expect as she was always making different ones. Mainly, grandma would have either pink or green ambrosia salad to serve.
I think my favorite part about this salad would be the miniature marshmallows. I loved them as a kid and I still love them now as an adult. Ambrosia salad is insanely easy to toss together and you will love eating it!
