Ingredients
1 (16 ounces) package white baking chocolate
1 (8 ounces) package Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
1 cup toasted, chopped almonds (Adjust the amount of nuts to suit your taste. You can add more if you like)
1 tablespoon vanilla OR almond flavoring
3 cups (24 ounces) Domino powdered sugar
1½ cups (12 ounces or one package) toffee chips -purchase the toffee chips with or without chocolate
Instructions:
Spread the almonds on a baking sheet and place in an oven for five minutes or until lightly browned if not using pre-toasted almonds. Meanwhile, in a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate for 1 minute. Stir, and microwave again for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until chocolate is melted. Stir until smooth. Place chocolate and cream cheese in large mixing bowl and mix until blended. Add vanilla, mix. Add powdered sugar slowly ( 1 cup at a time) and blend until mixed. Add vanilla and 1 cup (8 ounces) of the toffee chips. Stir until combined. Spread in an 8″ by 11″ pan and top with 4 ounces of toffee chips. Place the fudge in the freezer until firm (1 to 2 hours) and then cut into one-inch pieces.
