Buttery And Crunchy, These Chicken Breasts Are Going To Knock Your Socks Off
I don’t know why, but I’ve always really loved chicken. Back when I was a kid already, I was crazy about it! And I have no idea where it came from because my Mom didn’t really cook chicken very often.
I grew up on a small farm and we were more used to heavier meals made of pork and beef. Working on a farm takes up a lot of energy, so it was important that the food was hearty and filling! But somehow, my favorites were always the chicken dishes.
Later on, when I moved away from home, I wanted to try and cook as much chicken as possible. Lucky for me, my husband really enjoys it, as well! It’s absolutely our favorite ingredient.
However, lately, I’ve been getting a little bored of the same old chicken recipes I’m always using. So I’ve been trying to find new ones, but I really want them to be easy and quick. I just don’t have the time to slave away in the kitchen!
My family has gone crazy about these cheddar and garlic, oven-fried chicken breasts – and I can completely understand why. They are super delicious!
We really love garlic so that’s probably one of the things that made this recipe such a hit at our house. I love serving these with jasmine rice, or sometimes simply with steamed veggies if I want to make a lighter dinner. Either way, we never have any leftovers!
